Every product is made to the same standard we would want for ourselves: purity, potency and consistency, in that order, with the paperwork to prove it.
Microdosing is exactly what it sounds like — a measure small enough that you should not feel it acutely. That only works if the measure is real, which is why our capsules are milled from one lot per fill run and weight-checked through it. It is an unglamorous detail and it is the whole product.
01 — The curious mind

Deadhead Chemist began in 2019 in a rented room with a set of scales, a notebook and an argument that would not go away: if something is worth taking seriously, it is worth writing down.
Everything that followed came out of that habit. The batch codes, the certificates, the fixed recipes, the refusal to change a formulation quietly — all of it is the same instinct applied to a bigger room.
Seven years and more than seventy-five thousand customers later the shelf runs to more than three hundred and fifty products across ten shelves, and the habit has not changed. It has just been written down more carefully each year.
02 — The experiment
Inside the lab
We buy from growers and makers we have visited. Formulation happens in-house, to a written recipe, so the product you reorder in a year matches the one on your shelf today. When a recipe changes, we say so and we change the code.
Nothing leaves without paperwork. An independent laboratory tests each batch, the certificate travels in the box, and the same document stays searchable here against its batch number for as long as the lot exists.
