We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site, the standard EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act point at. Where we fall short we would rather hear about it than not. Last reviewed 21 August 2026.
What is in place
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions, a skip link, and headings in order on every page.
- Full keyboard operation, including the mega menus, search overlay, cart drawer and quick view — each traps focus while open and returns it on close.
- A visible focus ring on every interactive element, never removed.
- Text contrast at or above 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text and interface chrome.
- Alternative text on meaningful imagery; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Live regions announce cart changes, result counts and form confirmations.
prefers-reduced-motionis honoured — parallax, drifting backgrounds, the starfield and scroll reveals all stop.- Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 CSS pixels throughout.
- Form fields carry real labels, and errors are described in text next to the field, not by colour alone.
Known gaps
- The product image zoom is pointer-driven; keyboard users can open the larger source image but cannot pan it.
- Some decorative chemistry plates behind sections reduce contrast slightly at very small viewport widths.
- Long filter lists on the shop page are not yet grouped into collapsible sections on mobile.
These are on the list. If one of them is blocking you today, tell us and we will prioritise it.
